Some of Santiago de Chile’s metro stations offer stunning art installations. While waiting for the train in the low lightened tunnels you get to experience beautiful paintings of landscapes, mosaiques, portraits and a huge installation of Chile’s moving history by Mario Toral. By the way, Santiago’s metro is one of the cleanest subway systems I have ever seen.
